In this case, our client, F, faced fitness to practise proceedings before the NMC dating back to 2018.
This case has been before the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) since 2018 and has only recently reached a final conclusion.
There were allegations across 3 incidents. The matter had been dealt with appropriately at local level which the NMC agreed with and, in the end, the view of the Panel.
An important factor in F’s case was that they had acted professionally and had undertaken solid steps to remediate. As a result, this matter concluded with a finding of no misconduct.
Representing F, fitness to practise defence barrister, Catherine Stock, commented:
“This case required good and experienced legal representation as it involved cross-examination of witnesses. Without it, the outcome could have been very different.”
F, said:
“Catherine Stock is a fighter! She is the best any nurse doctor or clinician can ask for to defend your case. She is highly skilled in her expertise, she is simply the best.
“No case to answer, and no misconduct found” was the outcome in my case. Thanks a million Catherine Stock and your amazing team at Kings View Chambers. You are simply the best and highly recommended.”
